Smruti Ranjan Senapati is the Founder of CSNOVA Intelligent Solutions and Care Private Limited and a PhD researcher at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. His work focuses on innovative engineering solutions in the fields of wearable climate technology, airflow engineering, intelligent thermal management systems, AI-integrated design, and advanced product development.
Driven by a vision to improve human comfort in challenging environmental conditions, he is developing next-generation wearable climate-control technologies that combine cooling, heating, humidity regulation, air filtration, and weather protection into intelligent all-season wearable systems.
With a strong research-oriented and problem-solving approach, his goal is to create energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable, and practical climate-comfort technologies with real-world applications in industrial, healthcare, outdoor, and extreme environmental conditions.
The Simulation, Prototype and Product Development Lab at CSNOVA Intelligent Solutions and Care Private Limited serves as the core research and innovation facility for developing next-generation wearable climate-control technologies. The lab supports design simulation, rapid prototyping, airflow and thermal analysis, product development, and performance testing of intelligent wearable systems. In response to the increasing challenges of climate change, rising ambient temperatures, and deteriorating environmental conditions, we have developed an advanced All-Season Smart Climate-Control Wearable System designed to create a controlled personal micro-climate around the user. The wearable integrates active cooling, heating, humidity regulation, and intelligent airflow distribution within a lightweight inflatable wearable architecture. The system incorporates a rain and water-resistant outer shell, breathable inner liner, adjustable thermal conditioning, and a hood-integrated airflow mechanism for enhanced cranial cooling and environmental protection. The wearable is engineered to maintain approximately 50–60% relative humidity inside the micro-environment while enabling user-controlled thermal comfort parameters based on individual physiological requirements. Developed through computational design, airflow simulation, rapid prototyping, and thermal performance optimization, the technology focuses on energy-efficient, low-power wearable climate engineering for traffic police, industrial, healthcare, outdoor, defense, and extreme environmental applications.
Incubated at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar with access to advanced research labs, engineering infrastructure, and student innovation networks, CSNOVA is driven by a passionate multidisciplinary team from diverse technical backgrounds actively contributing to product research, development, and innovation. The startup is continuously supported by professors, researchers, and laboratory facilities at IIT Bhubaneswar for advancing next-generation wearable climate-control and sustainable thermal management technologies.
